Membership
The Columbia wetlands is a very important natural area in our part of Canada and has been the subject of an ongoing controversy over a proposed boating regulation for the area. Recently, a group called the Columbia Wetlands Stewardship Partners was formed to spearhead issues surrounding the wetlands.
Each local watershed group is distinctive and representative of its community's interest, energy and character. These local Columbia Basin Groups truly are making a difference.

The Watershed Network is a partnership of groups with diverse goals and priorities but have a shared interest in ensuring healthy functioning watersheds. Any group or organization that supports the watershed Network's Vison and Mission, and is engaged in watershed activities or issues in the Canadian Columbia Basin is invited to join.
